Members Tales 11th March – Tim Marsh, Geoff Barwick, Roy Stanley

My thanks to Tim Marsh for his talk on his Bridge over the Nile – some great pictures of his early days as an engineer. Geoff Barwick clearly missed his vocation as a natural story teller not to mention professional cornet playing. His wonderully recounted story of just one element of his RAF days must surely be a taster for things to come! Roy Stanley had us all guessing about the artefacts he had brought along. When we learnt that these were all to do with blood letting I wondered if this was in some way connected to his years as a dentist!
