It was good to welcome Stephen back once again and he fulfilled my anticipation for a grand morning. His knowledge of the railway system in this area never fails to amaze and his pictures are much the same. He waits for hours with his Alsatian dog called Wrawby, after the railway junction of the same name – see picture, to get the perfect shot which includes not only a train but some wonderful landscapes. This coupled with his story telling ability means the spell passes as fast as the predicted HS2!
